Rainbows visit |

π Rainbows visitπ Last night, Officers from your Matlock Safer Neighbourhood Team were invited to the local Rainbows group to discuss the many different roles of the Police. We discussed the different important roles, from various Police Officer roles to all the Police Staff roles that the public might not be aware of. The children engaged really well and enjoyed asking both PCSO Coupland and PC Hussain questions about how their roles vary, and to ask about the different pieces of kit we carry when on the job. One of the Rainbow Leaders bravely 'volunteered' to be handcuffed and the children were able to see and hold some of the equipment we use. With darker nights here to stay, we left behind some fun high visibility accessories, from snap bands to stickers for the kids to share out to help stay safe when out in the mornings and evenings after school. We would like to thank the Rainbows for inviting us over for the evening, and we hope to visit again soon π
